James M. Vaughn is President and Chief Executive Officer of V-SEPT, Inc. Prior to founding V-SEPT, Inc. in March 2005, James was the Systems Engineering (SE) Director for Cisco Systems, Inc. a publicly-traded communications company. During his tenure as SE Director, James grew the southeastern area business from $500 million to $1 billion in sales revenue. James increased the customer base by focusing on new emerging markets of advanced technology, including IP Telephony, Security, Wireless and Optical Solutions. During his 25 years in the software and communications industry, Mr. Vaughn has also served in various sales management and senior management positions with 3Com Corporation, GTE and VECT, Inc.
